Julio began dancing at the City Ballet School of San Diego and the Academy of Performing Arts, continuing his dance studies at the San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts with an emphasis in ballet. Upon graduating he attended The University of the Arts as a BFA dance major, where under the direction of Brian Sanders, was selected to perform in the 2007 Mercedes Benz L.A. Fashion Week.Julio currently performs with the Jean Isaacs San Diego Dance Theater and LaDiego Dance Theater. Locally has done guest work with the California Ballet Company, Malashock Dance, Unity Dance Ensemble and The Garage. Julio was invited to join San Diego Ballet during the 2008 nutcracker tour.
