"the first explorers ever to survive the torrential, dirty
and vicious Inga Rapids in Congo"
"CONGO: The Grand Inga Project" chronicles the trip of legendary kayaker
Steve Fisher and his elite expedition team as they battle seemingly
insurmountable obstacles, navigate through the maddening politics of a
crooked Central African country and face their own worst fears in an
attempt to be the first explorers ever to survive the torrential, dirty
and vicious Inga Rapids in Congo. “It was easily the closest I've ever
come to dying,” Fisher said, after the expedition. The film will be out
on August 24, 2012.
