While driving along the north coast of Kauai, Glenn Gilbert and his wife, Cambra, pulled over and looked back toward Hanalei. "I was struck with the scene's dramatic lighting and snapped several shots with a Minolta X700," Glenn recalls. "We like the intimacy of Kauai, the feeling that you can get to know the island fairly well in a trip – though I look forward to further discoveries in the future." The couple live in West Los Angeles.
