Have you ever been on a really fast train? This is a picture of one of Taiwan's new high speed trains. Right now it takes four hours to get from Taipei to Kaohsiung. That's the same amount of time you spend in classes in the morning. When the new trains start running it will only take one and a half hours. That's just a little longer than it takes to eat lunch and have a nap! The train can travel at 300km an hour. That's pretty fast! Because the train passes through a lot of countryside there will be special crossings for animals.A little bit of everything and a lot of nothing: images and stories to take us on an eclectic journey. . . . . .
