Turning the Pages: British Library introduces 15 virtual online books
This is a great and highly commendable online project by the British Library, where 15 classic manuscripts have been digitised and all Shockwaved up to give us readers a pretty impressive virtual page-turning experience of books we would never be allowed to get our greasy paws on in real life. It comes complete with a virtual magnifying glass to help look at each page in more detail, and audio clips to give us the pleasure of listening to Mozart's undeniable genius whilst staring befuddled at his notation, and having horrific flashbacks of the freaky music teacher we had in high school.
