"Vanity Fair Portraits" at LACMA
Portrait of Adele Astaire and Fred Astaire by James Abbe (1926). The photograph is part of the "Vanity Fair Portraits" exhibition opening Sunday at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. The traveling exhibition of 130 celebrity images from the magazine is a collaboration with Britain's National Portrait Gallery. But Times art critic Christopher Knight is taking LACMA to task, saying the exhibit merely celebrates celebrity.

Wow! what a beautiful photo, I only wish they were alive today. I can't imagine anything more amazing than dancing with Fred ^^
