MILK offers an unforgettable GELATO and other luxuriously sumptuous treats
The flavors here are mostly old fashioned, but done luxuriously: sumptuous strawberry, Valrhona chocolate, coffee-toffee crunch made with house-made toffee. Bret Thompson, the owner of MILK is a former executive chef for the Patina Group. Thompson makes a mean banana split and a dreamy Milky Way malt, but there's also hand-dipped bon bons and ice cream sandwiches (shown above) made with classic French macarons. You'll find MILK (a bit of heaven) at 7290 Beverly Blvd., Los Angeles; (323) 939-6455.
