ENDURANCE: ZIP HAD IT !!
George "Zip" Zabel, from Wetmore, Kansas, was a pitcher for the Chicago Cubs. On June 17, 1915, "Zip" Zabel was called into a game against the Brooklyn Dodgers with two out in the first inning. He won 4-3 in the 19th inning earning the longest relief record in Major League Baseball. He still holds the current Major League Baseball relief pitching record.
