Ted and Marlyn Lawson of Palos Verdes were on a 14-day Africa tour when Ted caught this shot of Victoria Falls, between Zambia and Zimbabwe. He used a Minolta 600SL-AF24-85. The cascades, originally dubbed "Tthe Smoke That Thunders" by local tribes, were re-tagged by explorer David Livingston in 1855 in honor of Queen Victoria.
