AND THIS IS NOW (WELL, ALMOST NOW)

The Bay Area will be getting a spectacular new bridge. The new San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge is a project that has been delayed by concerns about design and cost overruns. Recently Californias's governor and lawmakers reached a deal that ended a six-month standoff over the project, which had risen to more than $6 billion. Under the deal, the state will provide more money, and tolls on state-owned bridges in the Bay Area will increase by $1 in 2007. Posted by Picasa
