"Lifeguard Tower House"
The Lifeguard Tower Residence is a three level house on a corner lot with an expansive view of Hermosa Beach which was designed by Steve Lazar. The building boasts three trapezoidal structures, one atop the other. This house performs the contemporary spirit which was inspired by the classic old architecture and lifeguard towers of Maine and Cape Cod.
This house houses an expansive living area and kitchen, four bedrooms, and three full baths and a powder room. The floors contain very broad planks comprised of Eastern white pine. It was choosen because the dimensions can handle wear and tear better over the years and it is also a nod to classic Cape Cod floors. The black granite countertops and stainless steel decorates the kitchen while shaker-style cabinetry completes the stylish kitchen.
