"rising star"
Soul singer Chris Pierce has played at 20,000-seat sold out stadiums, a 20-seat coffeehouse, and in recording studios. During the last couple years alone he's played three Japan tours, three European tours and eight tours in the United States. Chris's songs have made their way to both big and small screens, including the soundtrack for the Oscar winning film Crash, TV's hit show Brothers and Sisters, A Banana Republic national ad campaign which aired during Bravo's show Project Runway, and ABC's hit show What About Brian. Chris's songs are also currently featured on Sirius Radio, XM Radio as well as hit radio stations in Japan. Chris is receiving amazing accolades and press during his tours in the U.S. and Europe and his widespread popularity in Japan is steadily growing as well. He has shared the stage with Al Green, Toots and the Maytals, Seal, B.B. King, Colbie Caillat, Raul Midon, Jamie Cullum, Tristan Prettyman, Ozomatli, Robert Cray and Macy Gray to only name a few. He was chosen by Myspace.com as a featured artist and was featured recently on E! Entertainment channel and dubbed him a "rising star."
