Uh . . . but we love Shirley MacLaine ???
Uh-oh... this doesn't sound terribly good. The first review of the new made-for-TV biopic, Coco Chanel, starring Shirley MacLaine, have been released and it's not good.
The two-part miniseries for Lifetime has been panned by New York Post critic, Linda Stasi, who is pretty brassed off by its disclaimer of "freely inspired by the truth".
"They should have called it 'freely uninspired' since, after three looong hours of dull, awful, embarrassing dialogue and bad acting, you'll feel that you may never get inspired by anything again," she writes.
