How many people have managed at least one game for the Chicago Cubs since Frank Chance led them to their last World Series title?
Trivia answer:
Fifty.
The list includes, Joe McCarthy (1926-30), before he was a genius; Rogers Hornsby (1930-32), after he was a .400 hitter; and Johnny Evers (1913) and Joe Tinker (1916), meaning that Tinker-to-Evers-to-Chance worked a whole lot better for the Cubs than Chance-to-Evers-to-Tinker.
The only former Cubs manager who seemed suited for the job, at least in name, was Charlie Grimm.
