I don't know who put the money up, Arthur, but a bunch of couples graduating from my high school in June 1955 received tickets to see Tony Bennett live at the Copacabana as our senior prom graduation gift. My date and I were given a table behind a pillar toward the back of the room, but it was the most electrifying performance we ever had seen or heard.
