Mutiny on the Bounty Followed by Murder

Glenn McNeill, a 29-year-old chef from New Zealand, was found guilty in the first murder trial in 151 years on Australia's remote Norfolk Island.

A jury of seven men and four women convicted McNeill of murdering hotel dining room manager Janelle Patton, 28, in 2002. He faces a maximum penalty of life in prison.

Patton was the first person to be killed on the island since 194 descendants of the HMS Bounty mutineers moved there in 1856.
