One of the largest holiday-themed events in Southern California, the Griffith Park Light Frstival features a mile-long stretch of illuminated displays depicting various seasonal messages. The festival of lights started with a bike-only preview night on Nov. 24, and from November 25 through December 7 it was a pedestrians only, “vehicle free” event. The rest of the time it can also be enjoyed from the comfort of your car or from a free shuttle. The shuttle runs on weekends until Dec. 12, when it begins running nightly. A little bit of everything and a lot of nothing: images and stories to take us on an eclectic journey. . . . . .
